About Jordan Works

Jordan Works is a senior who is double majoring in journalism honors and political science and minoring in criminal justice as she prepares for a career in law.

She is a member of the Journalism Institute for Media Diversity, a Wayne State learning community that promotes academic and professional excellence in order to advance diversity in the media. 

Jordan is currently a marketing assistant at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. She has also served as the editor-in-chief of The South End, Wayne State's official student newspaper, where she began working as a freshman. She has also sought out additional exposure, including work as a communications intern for Ford Motor Company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Gretchen Whitmer for Governor, Congresswomen Debbie Dingell, State Representative Stephanie Chang and to several other political campaigns.

Jordan is a proven leader with a go-getter attitude who has worked hard to excel and create an impact both in and out of the classroom.
